The company was established in 1980 as a roofing contractor, carrying out roof tiling for both major clients and the domestic market. In about 1986, the business expanded its scope to include ‘supply only’, becoming a merchant as well as a contractor. At around the same time, the company opened a second branch in Penzance. The company serves a largely regional customer base and it is the largest independent contracting and merchanting company of its kind, south of Bristol. Forrester Roofing is a widely respected, significant player in Cornwall and the company’s name and reputation is well known throughout the region.
